Can’t Login AFTER its been running fine

  • I’ve been running WP fine for a month at https://www.haikusmackdown.com Tonight? I went to login? And when I entered my admin login and password, it just refreshes the login screen without either field entered. I know I’m typing it right – I have been for a month now. What could have happened?

    See the link in the post from rboren
    Copy the entire file from the link.
    Paste it into Notepad, BBEDit, Wordpad – any plain text editor.
    There must be *NO* whitespace of any sort either before the first < or after the last >
    Not even a carriage return.
    Save that as ‘wp-login.php’
    Upload that to your wp directory.
    Then login ??

    I just went and re-did it again, deleted cookies and everything. Still no luck. I apologize for the last reply sounding rude, I am assuming it is completely user error :), but I have done all that I can find as a suggestion, to no avail. Any other ideas?

    I’ve even gone and followed a few links suggesting I edited the vars file and what not. This login worked at THIS computer yesterday. I’m at home, nothing would have changed without me knowing. NONE of the “users” can login. Please someone help. Thanks podz for trying, if you think of anything else, let me know.

    I’m having exactly the same problem, attempted the same fixes. Even double-checked my SQL database for errors. Any suggestions?

    I tried adding php_flag phpa Off to the .htaccess file in my root directory (/www). No luck… But, I appreciate the help!

    I had a friend look over the wp-login.php code and he said it looked fine! The page is trying to redirect me to the admin section, but with no luck. It is pulling from the database fine, but for some reason won’t redirect! Any ideas??? I’m still stuck!

    elmsblog: go to my site and send me an e-mail, and maybe we can track it down. Send me the relevant re-direct, if any in your htaccess, and your WP files and index page setting. For now my thought is that there is a problem with your index.php file in wp-admin. I would replace that with a new one and delete any cookies.
