can’t login anymore

I just successfully installed wp today. I logged in and attempted to change the install directory to mysite/wordpress and the blog directory to mysite/blog… when i hit the submit button it sent me to the login page and now i can’t login. When i try (at mysite/wordpress/wp-login.php), i am redirected to mysite.com/wordpress/wp-login.php?redirect_to=%2Fwordpress%2Fwp-admin%2F
with no error message.
(when i intentionally enter an incorrect password i get a password error message)
I tried:

to no avail

any suggestions?
