Cant login from another machine

  • I installed and configured WordPress 1.2.1 from my wife’s computer because mine was in for repairs. Now my laptop is back and I tried to login from it and got a failure.
    Error: Incorrect Password
    I knew I had the info right, so I went to my wife’s computer and tried using the same password and it worked. I need to be able to login from my laptop as it is my primary machine.
    Hers –> MacOS 10.2.8 and Safari 1.0.8
    Mine –> MacOS 10.3.6 and Safari 1.2.4
    I searched the posts and didn’t find the answer. Any ideas? Thanks in advance,

  • try to delete the cookies and empty the cache

    On which machine? The one that logs in or the one that want? Or is there a cookies file on the server which needs emptying?

    Ok, now I can get in on my laptop. I didnt really do anything but clear the cache on the laptop. I did that last night. I thought I had tried to login since then but I must have mistyped the password or something. I tried now and got in.

    Hmm. Any chance it was that horrible beast, the CapsLock key?
