CAN'T LOGIN – no access to my website!!!

    I have a problem logging in to my WordPress Dashboard/my Website after installing WP Maintenance Plugin.
    As recommended in other topics, I already deleted the plugin from my FTP and cleared my cache – nothing changes. Still not able to log in.

    When I try to login here as usual entering Username and PW: https://www.sinnsicht-herzensbildung.at/wp/wp-login.php I get directed to here: https://www.sinnsicht-herzensbildung.at/wp-login.php – and then it says “File not found. The requested URL was not found on this server.”

    Usually, when I went to: https://www.sinnsicht-herzensbildung.at/wp/ I was able to see my website – now I can only see the crappy formated Home-Page and apparently the links are disabled.

    Maybe I messed something up with the directories. Also I didn’t ‘exclude’ anything (apparently I missed that part in the description or faqs) … but now I don’t know how to do or change ANYTHING because I can’t login anymore – and because I’m not familiar with code or php … I would simply need to be able to access the page again ….

    PLEEEAAASE help and tell me what to do, I hope I have not ruined my website completely – it needs to be online soon!!!

  • Happened to me too, All you need to do is delete the folder. If you use a software to host it, find your website folder and go to:
    <Website Folder>\wp-content\plugins\ and delete the wp-maintenance-mode folder, or move it temporarily. Worked for me!

    Thanks for your reply – but I did that already and it didn’t work for me. Any other ideas?????
