Can't Login or See site online

    Hi!

    I have taken on a WordPress website in development from another person who is now sick and I can’t ask from him what to do with my problem. So would appreciate any help please.

    My work has an existing website at https://www.lumpeenkukka.fi and a new site is being developed at https://www.lumpeenkukka.fi/site. Before the previous person got sick, he set everything up on my laptop to continue the work. So all is fine when I’m working from my laptop. However, from any other device there is no access to the wp login or the new site in development and I would need it for others to view remotely. This is an entirely new situation for me so don’t know where to even begin to solve this.

    Any ideas please, you kind souls :)? Thank you!

  • Hi,

    Has the setup being done on your local machine? Are you running the site on localhost? What does your web browser URL read when you access it from your laptop? I clicked on the second web link you have mentioned and ended up with a 404 which means that “site” directory has not yet been setup and the address cannot be found.
