Can't login to admin page

  • I have been using wordpress for 2 years with no problem. For the last week when I have tried to go to the admin page I can’t login and it comes up with,
    Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/renaesha/public_html/wp-content/themes/agenci/admin/admin.php on line 420
    Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/renaesha/public_html/wp-content/themes/agenci/admin/admin.php:420) in /home/renaesha/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 897

    I have contacted the company I purchased the theme from but had no response. Please help!

  • You can move your theme out of the theme folder via ftp so the default WordPress theme loads. You should then be able to access your admin.

    As far as what is wrong with your theme, you will need to see what your theme developer says regarding updates, fixes.

    Or you can try and post a request to try to hire someone to resolve the conflict in your theme.

    When did you upgrade to 4.0?

    I am not sure when/if I updgraded.. could that be the problem?

    Als can you be more specific with how to access the ftp? And if use the default theme will I loose all my content?

    Why don’t you try and contact your hosting company for help with this? Some will walk you thru the troubleshooting and get you logged into the admin again.

    At the very least, they can tell you how to access your files via ftp.
