Can't login to Admin Panel even w/new generated password….!!!

Mods? I really need to get this taken care of ASAP.

What have you tried already on the server? You should give these a try:

Backup your WordPress files and database.

Then they don’t know where to look. Follow the instructions in this guide and use one of the recommended methods for resetting your admin password manually. Tha phpMyAdmin method and ftp method seem to be popular and successful.

Sorry for the bump, was just frustrated.

New development: It somehow logged me in via the latest generated password. I’ve been on there for a few hours now, working fine. I even went ahead and made a custom password, which I tested multiple times by logging in and out.

I go to log on just now – and AGAIN it’s saying wrong password…..

Why is it randomly working then not working???

Ok, I happened to have a window still open logged in. I deactivated a new plugin called “PHPBB Single Sign On”.

Went and tried to log on again and it worked.

Could that one plugin have been the problem? Not sure how :/

Plugin interference is one likely possibility. Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

Seemed to be just that one. Sucks b/c I was really looking forward to showing latest posts from my phpBB board ??

Also, if your phpBB board has an RSS feed of the latest posts, you can add the RSS widget to your sidebar at Appearance/Widgets in your admin panel and use the board’s feed.

Supposedly the only part I needed to edit was this:

And that’s filed out correctly. Weird.
