some syntax error has arrived after changes. Use WordPress in debug mode to know what is wrong in code. And then you will be able to resolve it. ??

Thank you so much for your reply Deepanker but I don’t know how to do that. :-/

Do you have access to your server’s error logs? If so copy all of the code in your log, paste it into a PasteBin page and link us that.

Alternatively just re-upload your footer(.php?) file that was modified into your theme’s folder.

No, sadly. The company who originally built the site would have all that.
I just re-built from a new theme and it was finally perfect then this happened.
Do you think they can help me??

I would re-upload the file you modified to your theme. You’ll probably lose all of your modifications onto it, but that’s how you can easily resolve your issues.

Also install WordPress locally, https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Installing_WordPress , so that you’re not developing straight onto the live site and you’ll have errors shown.

This is the code I deleted.

    $credits = sprintf( ‘<p> · © %1$s %3$s · Designed by %4$s ·

Hi @gemsmidz, have you tried to re-upload the original footer.php file, like @andrew mentionned?

Or, another thing you could do : set the WP_DEBUG to true in your wp_config.php file (on the root of the WP install).

Why did you delete that? To hide the credits? I think there are guidelines that do this already, but deleting that doesn’t look like the way to go.

I deleted it as I thought it would delete the “designed by” text Andrew.
Oh plus, I’m an idiot that doesn’t know what she’s doing. :-/

Hi Nikeo. I don’t upload anything to a database or anything like that as I just use the login the company who originally built my sitye gave me. The Customizr theme looked so much better than the old site we paid a lot of money for and I’ve stuffed. I dont know what to do and I’m freaking out.

can you post the code of footer.php here..

put is here and i will try to find the issue in the code..

You’re so lovely to offer Deepanker, thank you. But I can’t access my login to get in and look at the code.
When I go to https://www.climateroofing.com.au/wp-admin the screen is blank. I can’t even log in.
