• Hello,
I am trying to login to the WP 2.0 dashboard from a cloaked page but the login form just keeps reseting.
My WP blog is loaded at here.mydomain.com but I want everyone, even authors, to access it from https://www.here.org.au
At the moment it loads fine from https://www.here.org.au but I can not login. I can get to the login page and I can type my details in but when I hit the login button the page just refreshes, clears the boxes with my login details, and leaves me back with, an empty, login page.
One thing to note is that this seems to only be happening with IE. I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox and had no problem logging in.
Is there a known fix to this problem. Most of the people who will author for this blog will be logging in from work places (haha) which will, more than likely, be running IE.
Hoping some smart cookies out there can offer a solution.
    Cheers,
    mohoohoo

  • WP is very “hostile” to any kind of redirects, cloaked addresses and alike.

    Hi,
Thanks moshu for your reply above – it’s encouraging to see that the post has been read.
I think the issue might be with IE Mozilla Firefox has no problems working with WP to manage the redirect/cloaking from https://www.here.org.au
Any ideas how I can get IE to behave better. Perhaps I need to make some changes in IE or perhaps I need to make some changes in WP code so that it can work better with IE?
    Thanks,
    mohoohoo
