Can't login to wp-admin, and Warning: strpos() expects parameter

  • This is at the top of the website:
    Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in /home/content/36/11776936/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3660

    I can’t get to the wp-admin login.
    I can’t send my theme author an email because I don’t have the purchase code. I changed jobs and email address, but I do have the invoice and receipt. Just no purchase code.

    Things I’ve tried:
    Deleted site and uploaded a new download of wordpress.
    Removed plugins
    Deleted blue diamond theme

    Cant log in. Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_status() in /home/content/a/wp-content/plugins/email-newsletter/email-newsletter.php on line 795

    I updated the newsletter today and then it happened. I use mac. I can’t log into my my webpage..
    Please help. Any idea?
