Can’t login to WP: “reCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN”
-
So as of this morning when I try to login to one of my WP sites, which does not use any plugins for the login page, instead of the usual v2 checkbox i’m getting a message “reCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN” in a box that looks similar to the old V1.
Where it says “Type the text”, well theres no image to type text from other then the banner that says “reCAPTCHA V1 IS SHUTDOWN”, which I tried to type that but it failed to login anyway saying “The reCAPTCHA wasn’t entered correctly. Please try it again.”
No idea how it got reverted back to V1 (if it even did) but with this right on the default WP login page, I can’t gain access to the dashboard to try and figure out what caused this.
I searched all over and people are just saying to go into wp-content/plugins and just rename the plugin that is causing the issue. Well this is all default, so there is no plugin. So now what?
Thanks again all for the help!
