Can’t login w/ safari, chrome, f.fox but CAN with phone?

– installed late 2010
– I had to keep resetting my PW by email for the past several months in order to login
– No major changes made, but now I can’t login on my mac (or my wife’s mac).

I tried 3 different browser. Even downloaded another browser (Camino) and still no luck.

When I try to login and purposefully type in the wrong PW, it tells me that the UN or PW is incorrect. If I type in the correct UN and PW, it basically refreshes the page as though I just typed in the domain/wp-admin again.

i CAN login on my iPhone and my iPad. VERY ODD!

I’ve tried emptying the cache, clearing cookies, restarting all browsers, turing computer off and then on, nothing seems to work!

I have other WP installs on other sites, and in a subfolder of this site. I can login to those sites w/o any problem.

Dangit folks, I’m a doctor… not a coder ??

I’m not a tech guy, but can follow simple instructions. Since I’m able to login using my mobile devices (on the same Wifi network), I’d think the problem is on my computer. BUT, it was very odd that I couldn’t login using my wife’s computer, or newly downloaded browser.

HELP!
