can't make changes to settings – memory error

HiI just updated the ithemes security vs Better WP security. Now each time I try to make a settings adjustment it throws me into a white screen with the following error:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /home/extra061/public_html/francais/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1562
