I can understand the issue you’re having. While investigating the Column width controller for the devices, I found that everything is working fine in my development environment. The Width of a specific element can be adjusted very swiftly for Tablet devices. I made a video while testing. Please check this video for a better understanding.
Since nothing unusual was detected in my development environment, maybe there is something on your end that is causing the issue. You can check by running a plugin conflict test on your site to understand if there is any plugin on your site that is responsible for this issue.
To do so, please deactivate other plugins except for ElementsKit-Lite and Elementor and check if the issue still persists. If that solves your problem, activate the plugins one by one, and continue checking the issue. In this way, you will be able to detect if there is any plugin that causes the problem.
