    Hello there,

All the articles of my blog page in my website have cropped thumbnails who cut off important parts of the images, so I needed a way to fix it.
I tried your plugin on my website but it doesn’t seem to make what it should.
Yes, it regenerates thumbs but on the website but I dont’ see them anywhere, I still see the thumbs cropped in my blog articles list and in my homepage.
I changed the dimensions in the MEDIA page of the backend but nothing happened.

    Am I making some error?

    Flavio

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @drflak,

Thanks for reaching out. I checked the layout of your website and can see that the theme is designed to look its best when a specific size of the thumbnail image is used.

If you are creating custom images to be shown as featured images for your content, then I recommend creating these custom images following the dimensions specified by your theme.

When you upload a new image to WordPress the thumbnail version of this image is usually cropped to exact dimensions. This sometimes leads to a position of the image being cut off in order to fit in the specified size.

You can change this behavior from WordPress Admin > Settings > Media page by turning off the Crop thumbnail to exact dimensions (normally thumbnails are proportional) option.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions.
