    Hello,

I’m trying to set capacities to users on NextGen Gallery.
    https://www.imagely.com/docs/roles/

I’m Administrator of the website and a super-administrator on the WordPress network. NextGEN gallery is activated only on one site on the network.
In Gallery > Other options, I don’t have “Style” or “Roles/capacities”.
My users (editors) can’t access to Gallery to upload pictures and I need to change capacities.

    Can you help me please?

    Thank you

    Hi @sebvita,

We are hiding these settings from the WordPress Multisite installations for various technical related reasons so it will not be possible to set the “Roles/capabilities” if using a WordPress Multisite installation.

    Thanks for your understanding

    Hi,

Ok. Thank you for you answer.
Then, how can I give access to my editors to the galleries (creation, uploads,…)?
Actually, they even don’t see the menu “Gallery”.

    Thank you.

You will either have to limit this operation for Administrators only or opt for a non-multi-site WordPress installation.

    Hi,

    That’s wrong…
I found this in your documentation: https://www.imagely.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/network_settings.png; you can check this option to “Allow users to change the roles for the other blog authors” and it works.
I can choose other roles than Administrators to upload pictures.
The opposite would have been ridiculous; which blog only allow Administrators to upload pictures?

    Thank you.
