Is there any error message when you try to mark it as favourite?

No error msg, it just doesn’t register.

I checked it again, and it’s due to adblockplus. The image is blocked due to the word ‘adsense’ and somehow it ties with the favorite function, so it doesnt register.

I notice more and more issues with this kind of adblockers. Personally i do not use any adblocker because of the technical lacks the bring and I also want to support small websites. Advertising is often the only source of income they have,

I’d agree that ads are a source of income, or else i wouldn’t be visiting this plugin.

Unfortunately most of the sites spam ads, and seeing a gigantic belly while browsing for food recipe for example, is just utterly unacceptable.

Back on topic of adblock blocking the favorite function, it’s either WP’s fault or ABP. Someone needs to fix it.

Its definitely ABP fault because the WordPress team cannot be responsible for third party publishers and plugins which are affecting functionality of the wordpress website. Maybe you find another ad blocking plugin which does not prevent the favorite function.

I agree with you that a lot of websites are very spammy and adblock plugins are a userful addition. Maybe you can whitelist www.ads-software.com?
