Can’t modify header custom item

You upgraded to the new header so you have new options available. You just enable and configure from Customize > Header > Main Header > Elements. Note that you can also configure header elements for mobile devices.

I have read through your documents. The header elements that I added are not listed under main or mobile header. I’ve tried activating all the elements, deactivating them, and nothing changes. Should I go back to the old header?

Never mind my previous message. I reverted to the old header by using options.php and then removed the extra items and made them into menu links with the new header. All good! Thank you.

Hello, I have a similar problem. I have the new header and I cannot delete an item that appears in the menu. They told me to go back to the previous header with options.php in value 0, but when I put it I did not get the header option … How did you solve it? Thanks

@cerretres Sorry for the delay! Here, this is what I did.

1. Visit yoursite[DOT]com/wp-admin/options.php
2. Find the sydney-update-header line using your web browser’s finder menu (CTRL+F)
3. Change the value to 0 and save. Here is your visual guide for this.
