• I’ve tried to modify your front.css file to widen the contact form, but it doesn’t seem to take.

On one of my sites, the form text elements are centered rather than flush left. I see nothing that I can adjust to fix that, and, as I said, editing css doesn’t take.

May I suggest you put these settings into the WP dashboard, so they are easily adjusted. And please make them work.

    Thank you.

    Hi Gene,

There isn’t anything in the plugin that is stopping changes to that CSS file from working so I’m guessing that something else is going wrong (changing the wrong thing, cached file, etc). You should consider using a plugin like Simple Custom CSS to add your styling changes since changing that file will be undone when you upgrade.

I’ll consider a few changes to how the styling is handled on the next version. I can’t make every style a setting but maybe there is a happy medium.

    Thanks!

Now I’m seeing the contact form narrower on one of my sites:

    https://www.theparacast.com

I reverted the CSS to normal, so what’s up?

    It’s not resolved.

I tried the CSS plugin on one site where it worked.

In theparacast.com it doesn’t. The form irenains unusually narrow.

On another site all form labels are centered so I am not using for now.

OK, for the time being I’ve disabled it from theparacast.com (it’s at https://www.technightowl.com/radio/) until CSS is resolved.

    Gene,

If you have the styles from this plugin turned off and you’re seeing differences on different sites, that’s your theme styling affecting how the form looks. If you’re adding CSS and it’s not taking, in any case, that means your CSS is incorrect or not specific enough.

You misread. I disabled your plugin because of the styling problems.

I cannot use it until that’s fixed.

It’s inconsistent depending on which site I try it on.

It worked on only one with minor glitches.

    Peace,
    Gene
