On my admin dashboard i am unable to move widgets. When i mouse over them the cursor changes, but dragging leads to just selecting the text, instead of moving the widget.

npe, javascript is active. I have this issue in IE6, IE7, Firefox 2 and Firefox 3. Haven’t tried Opera yet.

Hi there, I had this problem a few weeks ago.
Eventually I found that the feedwordpress plugin was causing a conflict. The only way I could resolve it was to de-activate each plugin one by one and keep checking to see if the widgets were moving.
    Hope you get there.
    mike.

Interesting, I have that plugin enabled and I don’t have any problem. That does happen from time to time though.

thanks, i checked my plugins and it seems one of them was the problem.

    Cool, glad to hear.

Hi I’m having the same problem except that it wasn’t a plug-in. It was Alexa and I’ve deleted it (using a Mac so I just moved it to the Trash) but the problem remains. Any ideas how to re-set the widget settings so I can drag and drop again?
