Can't open pages for editing

  • Hi
    I can open my dashboard and I can open the all pages page. When I click on edit to any one of my pages, I get the name of the page but where you edit your page is blank. I can’t click in the box. Nothing. Some times it will freeze my computer. I have tried using EI, Mozilla, and Chrome, all with the same results.
    I am building this site behind my site as I am changing from Front Page to Word Press…. lol thinking Front page is better at this point.

  • Deactivate ALL plugins and try again.

    If that doesn’t work, switch themes and try again.

    It’s most likely a plugin conflict.

    Hi Evan,
    Thank you but I have deactivated all plugins. It was working fin when I first started it. Then just the home page won’t load… now all pages won’t load.

    I figured it out.. I think it is a theme issue. Thanks for your input. Much appreciated!

    Yea, I bet the theme author didn’t prepare the theme for WordPres 3.9 update.

    Maybe, I was having this problem with just my homepage before the update. Who knows… computers lol grrrr
