Can’t open post-new.php or page-new.php since upgrade

  • I used the auto upgrader to upgrade my installation to 6.0. Now I get an error when trying to write new posts and pages.

    Internet Explorer can’t open website https://villeradio.com/wp-admin/post-new.php.

    Same error with page-new.php. I performed a new install on another site and it works perfectly. Anyone have any suggestions?

    I meant 2.6. sorry was thinking of another software i just upgraded for another customer.

    I just upgraded to WP 2.7 and had the same issue of not being able to open a new or edit an existing post. After perusing the forums, it seems that the plugins are at fault. I disabled all plugins and turned them on one-by-one. In my case, PodPress v 8.8 was the only one causing the error. Perhaps this will help anyone else with the same issue.
