Can’t optimize the wordfence firewall

    Very good plugin but I can’t allow the Firewall to be loaded before any other code loads (optimize the wordfence firewall).

    The Wordfence Web Application Firewall is designed to run via a PHP setting called auto_prepend_file, which ensures it runs before any potentially vulnerable code runs.

    But alternate installation details is not easy. I reead FAQ and help documentation but I can’t complete the setup process.

    Preselected my server configuration based on their tests,is not ok and effective. It’s impossible to achieve.
    An another idea ? thank you

    Hi again!

    I checked your diagnostics anyways, your server API is “CGI/FastCGI” which means the Firewall optimization should work with no need for manual action in most cases. Sounds like you’re good now though so that’s good to hear. Thanks for the update!

    I am having a similar problem. I love Wordfence and use it on all my sites, but this is the first time I am unable to optimize the firewall.

    When I click “optimize the wordfence firewall” button, nothing happens. Can you help?

    Hello. I get the same installation failed error when trying to optimize the firewall. Sorry this seems to be a reoccurring post. I’m reading through the Firewall Optimization Troubleshooting but not sure if it’s any of these in here. I can send a diagnostic if someone is willing to take a look.
