Can't post Anything new — submit for review

  • Dear WP,

    All of a sudden, the other day, I was not able to post anything new on my website, I have looked through forums and seen the same problem happened to others but I wasn’t able to fix it hence I’m not very technical when it comes to these things, Is there any way You guys can help me out? it only where the publish button was there says now submit for review.     What is a pre-upgrade database backup? is that the one within my Host?

    That’s the database backup that you were told to make before you upgraded WordPress to 3.3.1.

    Aaaah, Okay, But I am not able to import anything, nor a backup. It seems like I am not the admin, But it says that I am.

    You restore a backup using a database management tool like Phpmyadmin – not via your WordPress admin area.

    Using Phpmyadmin (or another MySQL management tool), first backup your database. Then navigate to your wp_usermeta table and locate the meta_key called “wp_capabilities” for your user_id. Change the meta-value for this record to:

    a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;}
