Can’t Post Comments since Upgrading to 2.8.3

  • I or any of my users are unable to submit comments to post since I upgraded to Version 2.8.3 I was able to before the upgrade.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

    I have deactived all my plugin, changed to the default theme and even rebooted the server and still can’t submit any comments to a post.

    When I hit submit comments, it goes to a blank page and the url is:

    https://”myblogsite”/wp-comments-post.php#comment-

    no errors that I can find in any of the logs.

    Can you drop a copy of your comments.php file into the WordPress pastebin?
