Can’t Post in 3.0

  • Any help is appreciated.

    Upgraded to 3.0 from 2.9.2. and now I can’t post anything new. Disabled all plug-ins and still no avail. The site and my admin pages are also moving at turtle speed slow.

    Anyone know or have a solution as to why I can’t post anything new or know how I can revert back to 2.9.2?

  • Have you tried:

    – switching to the 2010 theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

    – increasing the available memory?

    Okay, I finally got to trying all of the above mentioned to no avail. Bummer. I still can’t post and the site and admin. pages are still moving slowly like molasses. Is there any other solutions or workarounds I can try? It’s going to be monday in a couple of hours and I need to really do something about this, help…..revert back to 2.9.2?

    And to add, the one and only time I got in to actually post something, I tried to save it as a draft and it didn’t save.
