Important note for site admins: If you are the administrator of this website note that your access has been limited because you broke one of the Wordfence firewall rules. The reason you access was limited is: “Blocked by login security setting.”. If this is a false positive, meaning that your access…

Also will add that this is new issue. Jan 4 post on Facebook was fine. WP 4.4.1 updates and all plugin updated between then and now.

Something I changed fixed the problem … I guess it just took a bit of time. The next post to Facebook worked.

I expect it was this setting which had not been checked before 4.4.1 upgrade:
Block IP’s who send POST requests with blank User-Agent and Referer

Maybe this one can get turned back on after the weekend
    Immediately block fake Google crawlers

Thanks to the forums and support docs!

    Hi,

When using a cloud proxy, check your Live Traffic page, and make sure that IP addresses are appearing correctly. (You can test by visiting the site yourself in a second browser without logging in, and seeing if your own IP appears.)

If the IP is incorrect, it could cause the Facebook blocking issue intermittently — in that case, you may need to change the “How does Wordfence get IPs” option to X-Forwarded-For or X-Real-IP, depending on how the proxy is set up. After changing the setting, try visiting the site in a second browser again, and then check Live Traffic.
