Can't preview any themes. Please Help!

It’s a problem with that theme. Where did you download it from? It seems you need to update its framework if you want to use it further and you won’t be able to use that functionality if it’s a free theme.

Revert to Twenty Twelve theme and see if the problem persists (via FTP/ cPanel if you cannot change theme from your admin area).

It doesn’t work for ANY theme. I tried 2012, 2011, and about 30 other themes. I can’t use Live Preview to test a theme and I can’t use Customize on whatever theme is active.

Maybe it’s something on my site somewhere but I don’t even know what to look for.

I can change themes just fine, I just can’t use the Live Preview or Customize links.

Did you try deactivating all plugins and activating Twenty Twelve theme to see if it works?

Tried that just now. No change.

Anyone know how Live Preview and Customize actually work? Coudl there be a permission problem with a folder or file or something on my site?

Any solutions to this? I can not preview anything, Mac 10.8.4, Chrome latest, FFX latest, annoyed.

I gave up on this since I got no support from anyone. I was able to find a plugin that allowed for previews and that worked fine for me. It’s called Live Theme Preview.
