    Hi All,

I upgraded to 2.7.1 the other day when it came-out, using the built-in auto-upgrader.

Tonight, I’m trying to make my first post on https://www.micsaund.com and I’m getting a really strange problem:

If I type a small bit of text into the Add Post (html editor if that matters), I can Save Draft and Preview just fine. But…

If I type a longish post and try to Save Draft or Preview, I get a “post not found” error.

If I go to the Edit Post list, I can see the first saved-draft with the small paragraph or two, but nothing is updated from the longish post attempt.

Also, I’ve flagged a post category as “electronics” but I keep getting another category added which I don’t want when I save the small length post.

    What’s going-on?

Just to test, I went to another site of mine (www.gizmo-central.com) and the exact same thing happens. Is this something wrong with a setting on my hosting plan all of a sudden? Why the heck can I save/preview a short post, but not a longer one?

I’m stumped and need your help. I can’t really do much on the sites until I get this fixed.

    Thank you!

I just tried a new blog which I just installed a couple weeks ago, which has minimal plugins/content/database size and it’s showing the 404 when I try to Save Draft also.

Oh yeah — I deactivated all plugins on all three sites to test. No luck.

Fixed: Apparently the word “lynx” in my posting was triggering the mod_security! Argh. Filtering on a particular word for security doesn’t seem that great, but oh well…
