I’m trying o us the plugin, I created a Deck but when I insert the shortcode on a page doesn’t show at all. I’m using Divi builder, could be related with that?

    Thanks

    Hi @ibp12,

Theoretically, it should work also with Divi.

Can you share the link of the page where you are trying to add the deck?

    Sure, thank you

I included the shortcode here in a “text” module on Divi. I’m running a test. I can see a plain text I put (“Shortcode oracle:”) but the shortcode itself doesn’t appear even on the browser inspector.

Thanks to you @ibp12. So, it’s confirmed it’s not just a matter of CSS, but the output of the shortcode is not printed at all.

Do other shortcodes work on the same page?

If not tested yet, can you try for example the following shortcode

    [caption]Hello world![/caption]

That’s a shortcode added by the core. You should just see “Hello world!” on the page.
If that shortcode works, I will investigate deeper why it doesn’t work with the shortcode added by Oracle Cards.
If on the contrary, it also doesn’t work, I suggest you to check the settings of the plugin AIOSEO. I know that plugin does strange things with the shortcodes.
I would check the settings of AIOSEO in any case.
Maybe temporarily deactivate it to see if the issue is caused by a conflict with AIOSEO. If this is confirmed, we can focus on that direction.

    Have a great day!

Thank you for the deeply response. ??

I added the [caption]Hello world![/caption] and it shows well and also deactivate the AIOSEO plugin but still not seeing the oracle :’)

Hey! ?? Were you able to investigate what may be wrong with the plugin or shortcode?

    Hi @ibp12

I tested Divi again and have no problems.

    I suggest you:

If you can see the cards, then activate one plugin after the other with Freesoul Deactivate Plugins until you find which one is causing a conflict with Oracle Cards.
You can watch the video included in this post https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/how-check-which-plugin-causes-issues/ to see how you can use FDP to debug which plugin is causing issues:

I hope it helps. Let me know if you find out anything.

    Have a great day!

    Hi @ibp12!

You are welcome! However, I see you disabled only 2 plugins, and many plugins are still active. Can you please disable all the plugins but Oracle Cards on that page?

    Have a great day!

Oh you’re right. I did it in the opposite way. However I now have all plugins deactivated but oracle cards and still not showing ??

    Hi @ibp12,

    thank you for your information.

When I’m writing, I see the output of the shortcode [caption]Hello world![/caption]. The text’s color is white, which is why it’s not visible, but I see the caption shortcode works.

Can you please add again the shortcode of Oracle Cards?
Be careful about the double quotes. Last time I forgot to tell you that the double quotes of the Oracle Cards shortcode weren’t valid. Maybe it was a copy/paste problem.
If you copy/paste the shortcode, I suggest you delete the double quotes and write them again without pasting them from the clipboard.

    Have a great day!

    Thank you for your time.

    Still not working ??

I added a new oracle card shortcode and tried with and without double quotes.

    Hi @ibp12,

You are welcome! Thank you for the information!

A last test I kindly ask you to do:

    • Go to the Freesoul Deactivate Plugins => Singles settings
    • Keep all plugins disabled but Oracle Cards
    • Open the actions buttons bar by clicking on “+”
    • Select a default WordPress theme on the row related to the page where you added the shortcode
    • Click on the preview icon
    • Select Divi (not your child theme) as a theme
    • Click on the preview icon

To select a different theme (only for preview) you can use the dropdown list that you see in this picture:

After clicking on the lens icon next to the themes dropdown list you will see the page with the theme that you selected.

Please, let me know if the same issue occurs also with the default WordPress theme, or with Divi parent theme.

    Have a great day!

    Jose
