    Hello,

I am having issues pulling backups. They just randomly stop. The site it is on is actually in a subfolder, could that be why it doesn’t work? Avahidesign.com/gnetik

this is the pastebin link to my log files.

Any help would be much appreciated. I haven’t been able to back this site up at all and I was just about to buy the migrator plugin to migrate it to it’s own server.

    Hi,

Can you help me understand the situation please? Are you trying to migrate a site?

From the log that you sent though it appears that the backup process has been timed out.

As a workaround, you can try to reduce the backup archive split size. This will split the backup into smaller, more manageable files.

To do this, open the ‘expert settings’ section of the UpdraftPlus Settings tab, and find the ‘split backups every’ option. Set this to 100Mb, save your settings and run a new backup process again.

    Does it successfully complete now?

    Regards,

Right now I am just doing normal backups before I update to wordpress 4.9.5. Migrating was going to be the next thing I did. I have it set to split every 50mb because of something I saw on the forums before and it still can’t do it.

    Hi,

Put the ‘split’ size down to the lowest possible value, 25MB.

I think my colleague was confused by the phrase “pulling backups”, which seemed to suggest moving them between sites. As I understand it, you just mean “taking backups” ?
