Can’t read NEW pages

I was asked to customize a theme (was-imjtk-1) for a friend who wanted to start a blog. One of the things that she wanted was to have the Titles of her post appear as a list on the HOME page. The problem is when we want to see the ABOUT page we get a title but no post!

Can someone please tell me how to fix this?
