Can't read the shortcode construction screen

    I’m using Weaver II with a theme that has a black background and light gray font colors. Apparently those font colors are carried over to the shortcode construction screen but the background color isn’t. Result is basically an unreadable light gray font on a white background. Is there a way to hardcode a black font into that screen without affecting the general theme?

    It sounds like your theme is adding the style-sheet to the editor.
    You could try adding css to your theme’s css file to adjust the font color.

    Looks like there is a class called ‘forceColors’ which wraps the shortcode form that you can probably tap into.
