Can't "Redirect users back to the current page"

The option to “Redirect users back to the current page” does not seem to be functioning properly on my site (cosplayscene.com).
After logging in, the page is not reloaded. A manual refresh does reveal that the user was in fact logged in.
The other options like “Redirect users to home page of my blog” do work properly.
I appreciate any help.
