• Hi I haven’t used my blog in a while, and I want to change what’s written in the sidebar.

I can’t for the life of me remember how to find that out. Can someone point me to where that is? Looked through the admin.

I can see the sidebar.php of course in the theme editor but I know that’s not what I’m looking for. If you look on my blog it is the copy in the “About the Author” sidebar area.

    Thanks ??

  • do you have a text widget installed? Look under appearance -> widgets and see if there is something there that you used to add the text in the sidebar

Did you try Appearance > Widgets?

Another common “About the Author” text area is under the user profile in the bio box.

Thank You I did find it… I had to click the little image beside the widget to open up the text contained therein. In the ‘Presentation’ (‘Appearance’ in some versions?) section of admin.

    Thanks for the help!
