Can’t remember password / email address

    Hi guys,

    I can’t remember which email I assigned to my WordPress account so naturally I can’t receive the password reset I requested.

    Anyone know how to re-set the email associated with my WordPress account.

    Any help?

  • I posted on this issue couple posts down….go into your WP database and look in the “wp_users” table and you should see your admin account there with the email you used to create it with….

    Read this. Some of the solutions won’t help you but the MySQL, PhpMyAdmin, and emergency script solutions should do you some good.

    another way i tried that worked for one site was that i was going to wordpress.com to log in instead of the site.com/wp-login.php

    took me an hour to figure that out – oops, but it worked. the other advice here didn’t solve my issue, but that might be exclusive to my situation.

    @apljdi Thank You!!!! I have been racking my brain trying to remember the password and/or email I registered and that was futile. Your link to the wordpress password reset page was EXACTLY what I needed. My terrorfied thoughts of having to delete my blog are over *MUAH*
