Can’t remove front page slug (.com/home)

The dear supporting team,
I am encountering a problem of having no way to remove the “home” extension from the permalink of the front page. For example, instead of being https://www.domainname.com/, it shows https://www.domainname.com/home when setting up the home page. I set the frontpage From Reading Setting. Could you please tell me a way to get rid of this inconvenience?
