Can’t remove sidebar widget

  • Hi there, I’v made a site for the antique shop of a good old friend. I used the Radiate theme and all is well. Except for a white block on the front page ( on the right) I can’t find a way to get rid of it. Anyone?

    If I can find a way to remove it there would be more space for the photo’s already on the pages. And that especially for smaller screens.

    Thanks for reaching us,

    The section you’re refeering to is the right sidebar, and the content is added via the widgets area. For removing the section, navigate to WordPress Dashboard > Appererance > Customize > Widgets > Right Sidebar. Upon navigating to the section, you can remove the content inside the right sidebar.

    Dear miss Paudel. Thanks for your answer to my question. I appreciate it very much. I can follow your path up to <widgets> but there is no <Right sidebar> mentioned there. I can add more ‘blocks’ there but I can’t remove an existing one. I did manage to clear out the text that was in the block, but not the block itself. Any ideas? Maybe in World Press the right sidebar can be removed, but I’v used a template Radiate Theme. Could that be the problem?

    In order to remove the block from the right sidebar, please try adding this CSS inside WordPress Dashboard > Appearances > Customize > Additional CSS:

    #secondary{
    display: none
}
