    Hi

Despite having read a lot of information on this forum, how to remove NOINDEX from certain pages, I need to put my problem here, because I can’t find a way to remove noindex from those pages.

    1. The pages I refer to, are giving Google frequent indexing errors, they are all of this type: (URL/en/2021/03/) which are the second sub URLS of (URL/en/sitemap-archives.xml) coming from the main URL (URL/en/sitemap.xml).

    2. All of these types of URLs have the following meta robosts tag: (<meta name = ‘robots’ content = ‘noindex, follow’ />)

    3. All the other URLs on the remaining pages of the website, present the meta tage INDEX, making sure that there are no indexing errors: Example: (<meta name = ‘robots’ content =’ index, follow, max-image-preview: large , max-snippet: -1, max-video-preview: -1 ‘/>)

    4. After several attempts I found out that NOINDEX comes from the YOAST plugin, but I can’t find a way to disable this function.

    5. The only way to make that NOINDEX not appear is to disable the YOAST plugin, but it is not a solution, because dos not provide better indexation for all other pages.

That said, I would like someone to tell me what the solution should I use.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out. We are not sure but it seems you want to noindex your date archives. You can do so by navigating to WordPress > SEO > Search Appearance > Archives > Date archives settings. For the option to Show date archives in search results?, choose ‘No’.

Do note that not showing the date archives in the search results technically means those will have a noindex robots meta. More info on the search results settings.
