Can’t replace sidebar in homepage

    Hi,

    first of all great plugin!! Really usefull!!

    So now my problem: I’m using a theme ( Appointment-blue by Webriti ).
    I want to replace the footer sidebar with the one i’m creating with your plugin.
    After setting all the things and check all the position it need to be shown all works except for the homepage which is a page created with section in the customizer (not a static page).

    So my question is there is a way to set “Homepage” as one of the replacement location?

    I hope it’s almost all clear.

    Hi Alessio,

    I’m afraid that I’m not much familiar with Appointment Blue so I’m not sure that I understand how exactly the homepage was created and some additional info would be appreciated.

    If you’re using “Your latest posts” as home page you should be able to replace the footer by going to Appearance > Widgets panel and follow these steps:
    1. Expand Footer Widget Area and enable “Allow this sidebar to be replaced” option
    2. Create new custom sidebar
    3. For your custom sidebar click on “Sidebar Location”
    4. Expand “For Archives” part
    5. Enable “As Footer widget area for selected Archive Types” option
    6. In selector field select “Front Page” like this:
