Cant resize embedded youtube video in Page

  • I am a little bit familiar with wordpress, but having the hardest time resizing embedded youtube videos on the main Page. If adding to a sidebar widget the video resizes no problem. But in the main content area of home page its full width no matter what I set the dimensions to.

    Please review the link as you can see what Im talking about. I also added image of the code. Ive tried other themes and have not had this issue, so maybe an ovveride in core code? Appreciate any help. Im not new to wordpress but not much of a coder either. Thank you for your patience and help.

    For a better experience, I recommend using the Elementor page builder to create your own page and easy to put the Youtube link to the columns instead of Block editor (WordPress core).

    I finally got it to display correctly by deleting jqueryfitvids file and editing plugins file to remove top section of fitvids code.
    Hope this doesn’t break anything down the road. Can’t understand why it wouldn’t display properly with that coding, but it works now across all platforms and browsers. Strange.
