Can't resize Logo Text

Hi, folks – I’m attempting to increase the font size of my Fantastic Forum logo text from 21 to 50 on my child theme of the free Gameplay download.

I can do that using firebug, but can’t make the change stick in my style.css file, the top.css file or the index.css uploading with Filezilla.

I’ve also tried adding the code to the child theme using my www.ads-software.com panel:

‘h1 { font-family: ‘Oswald’,sans-serif; font-weight:normal; font-size:50px; }’

That’s the exact line of code firebug singles out, but that font size isn’t taking effect no matter where I try to put it.
