• Hi, I have this error trying to restore backup from 2 updated WP sites, the backup`is abt 400MBs.

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 381818415 bytes) in /home/site33/public_html/site33/wp-admin/includes/file.php on line 630.

What options do I have ?

The source WP is a owned server and the destination is a reseller cpanel.

    Please help !

    Thanks

  • did you try the ‘alternate zip method’? you can see it if you click on the ‘advanced settings’ link.

I didn’t see that option, was so hidden in the bottom ! ??

After trying that option (used 16M in memory limit and put nothing in “execution time” the plugin seems to not finish the operation. I mean that after I click the plugin thinks for 1 second and after that nothing appears in the panel.

did you try leaving them both empty?
