Cant restrict an article in Flatbase theme

    I am trying to build a knowledgebase website with username and password protection (to all website).

    I am using Flatbase theme in this website with Content Control plugin.

    There is no problem with the website home page. It checked username and password and works perfectly.

    However, my website will have thousands of articles which can be reached by links and search bar located on the home page.

    The problem is that I cant restrict visitors to “articles” because the system doesnt see “articles” type of contents. It only allows me to restrict pages, posts, medias, tags etc.

    I have also tried to uninstall and install the plugin after checking other posts here.

    for example:
    The system restricts this page
    https://www.loginhelpdesk.net
    But it does not restrict
    https://www.loginhelpdesk.net/article/virman-girisi-nasil-yapilir/

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Thanks for using Content Control! What sort of content type are the “articles” on the site? Are you using the default posts as articles or is this a custom post type or are they something entirely different?

    The targeting options in the rules are fairly extensive but, occasionally, there is a specific way to set it up to get what you are after. If you want to let me know a little more about the site structure and how the articles are set up, I’d be happy to help you get the specific rules you need for setting up Content Control in the way you would like.

    Hi Frank,
    Thanks a lot for your reply, It really means a lot!
    The theme I have implemented has different content types like post, page, media, article etc.
    I guess “article” is a custom post type. (I am new in wp) I guess so because my theme has a search bar in the home page. And this search bar only works with article type of content. Which makes me think that articles are a totally different custom type of content.
    The website will have a home page and thousands of articles which may be reached by links and searhc bar at the main page. There will be no other page than these.

    I went to create some screenshots to walk you through it and discovered there may be a bug in Content Control which is preventing the articles (and other custom types) from showing up!

    I am debugging this further now and will let you know once we identify if this is a bug and what is causing it.
