Can’t retreive admin password

  • I forgot my admin password (yes dumb i know) but I request the password reset email and when I get the email and click the link the page I land on says:

    Please enter your username or e-mail address. You will receive a new password via e-mail.
    and
    Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid.
    Thennn… I enter my username on that page and click ‘Get new password and the email is empty.
    So, I can’t login into my admin!
    Do I have a corrupt folder or file?
    any ideas?
