• So I have followed all the instructions, changed my config file in note pad, uploaded the files to my host (Bluehost)and now I try to run the install, and it tells me the page is not found. I have checked my paths, they seem correct. I look in FTP and the install file is where I say it is… but nothing, tells me the page is not found.

The only thing that I can think of is, I just transfered my domain from Godaddy to Bluehost (1 hour ago). I am not sure if that has anything to do with why I can get to it… maybe because the domain hasn’t transfered over yet?

    Not sure.

If I type my url in, I get the Bluehost cpanel screen. so I know bluehost has it, and Like I said, the files are on the bluehost server, but the path doesnt work.

    Thanks for your help.

That certainly could be a problem. Usually the propagation of a domain move takes 24-72 hrs around the world wide web ??

    Thank you,

Just to confirm then, the url to get to the install page should be:

    https://www.example.com/wp-admin/install.php

Once this is done, will it create an index.html page?

    Thank you.

    Yes, that’s the correct path.

There is no index.html file in WP. If you have one – delete it!
