Noticed this issue when my client tried to update an email address. Edit the text, save, and a green circle just spins next to the list item.

This was in UABB’s Info List module so to troubleshoot I went basic, created a new blank page, started Beaver Builder, and then I dragged a new column onto the page. Green circle just spun on the page and it perpetually says “saving…” at the top.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @sarahrbcom,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

That might be caused by ModSecurity, a security platform from the server’s side.

Can you try adding the line below to your wp-config.php file and see if it helps? ??
    define( 'FL_BUILDER_MODSEC_FIX', true );

Hi Ben, thanks for the response. Unfortunately we’ve already been that route.

As based off this article: https://kb.wpbeaverbuilder.com/article/522-troubleshooting-beaver-builder-hangs-every-time-i-click-publish-or-save I added that line to both wp-config.php and the functions.php in the active child theme. My Sysadmin confirmed that our stack uses mod_evasive instead of mod_security, but regardless they whitelisted relevant IPs and I’ve disabled WordFence just to be sure. They aren’t seeing any server-side errors either so don’t have a lot to go on.

I know the ModSecurity issue is usually tripped by certain content, which is why I created a totally new, blank page. But not even it could autosave. WordPress and all plugins are up-to-date.

    Hey @sarahrbcom,

Thanks for the detailed response. It’s most likely caused by a JS conflict then, coming from a 3rd party plugin or theme you’re using.

Let’s have you go through the plugin deactivation process first to isolate the issue, i.e., disable all plugins and test the Beaver Builder while reactivating each to determine if the issue is related to a 3rd party plugin.

Let us know how it goes! ??

    Hi,

I am facing an problem to save the page using the page builder, in that we have checked the browser console and we have found the following error.

Error: “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()”
    File: “/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4”

Please help me to solve this problem and let me know if you need anything.

    Thank you!

Sorry I should have responded with my results. Going through the plugins one-by-one, I found that it was the HubSpot plugin that was creating a conflict. With that plugin deactivated, BB saves as normal.
