Can’t save and publish post after using Visual Editor

  • Hi Whenever I publish post using HTML editor mode, it is publishing successfully. But it is fail to publish whenever i use bold and underline function using visual editor mode. I am using linux hosting for my wordpress website.

  • You must choose on or the other. If you switch between the visual editor and code editor WordPress will remove any custom code you added in code view – or visual view

    But it is fail to publish

    Above massage is coming after saving post using Visual Editor.

    Also, when I save post by adding / inserting underline and red color codes via Text editor… the same issue arises.

    Kindly help on this.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    I tried health check plugin.
    Disabled all plugins using troubleshoot mode.

    In the first attempt only, I faced the same issue.

    Do you have mod_secure running on your server?

    What do your logs say when this happens?
