How did you get this to work exactly?
nazrulhassanmca was able to log into our site and get it back working. Thanks!
That’s not good.
@nazrulhassanmca I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
@jan Dembowski
I have solved multiples thread after asking for credentials from end users as end users are always not so expert I agree to “Even i ask for credentials on my personal email and any untoward incident takes place i would be solely responsible for any loss”
So from Now on wards i should stop asking credentials and hence forth i wont be able to provide effective end to end support to plugin users.
I would simply ask them they should contact their developers to get it fixed.
Just one question -> What do i do for the users who ask for customization of the plugin code?
I have solved multiples thread after asking for credentials from end users
Yes, that’s true. You did that 19+ times and I’ve gone back and redacted each one. Do not do that any more, it is that serious.
So from Now on wards i should stop asking credentials and hence forth i wont be able to provide effective end to end support to plugin users.
It would be unfortunate if you chose to stop supporting your users here. But if you do want to support them then please heed my advice. Or you can provide support on your own site, many authors do.
There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site should not be one of them.
- Ask for a link to the https://pasetbin.com/ log of the user’s web server error log.
- Ask the user to create and post a link to their
phpinfo();
output. - Ask the user to install the Send System Info plugin and get the data that way.
- Walk the user through enabling WP_DEBUG and how to log that output to a file and how to share that file.
- Walk the user through basic troubleshooting steps such and disabling all other plugins except yours, switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme, clear their cache and cookies and try again.
- Ask the user for the step-by-step on how they can reproduce the problem.
You get the idea.
Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
What do i do for the users who ask for customization of the plugin code?
Then you should direct them to your own site. A contact URL is not that difficult to setup.
Thank you Sir,
I will support the users here but the cases that are such where i need the info’s i will get them to my support website.
And i will take care of ethics from now on wards.
Thank you Sir.
NazrulThis is obviously a known issue. Can you just describe the process for fixing it here?
It can be due to post max size increased you can try to increase post max size on your server by a server guy or ask your programmer to fix it up.
else try this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/authorizenet-woocommerce-addon
This seems to be working now. Thanks for the info! The recommended plugin also works very well and has a higher rating that the older plugin I was using. Great job!
This is no longer working at all.
This plugin and other plugin i recommended are both authored by me only difference is this one has less features and posts data to gateway through code and other one uses official libraries provided by authorize.net so has the features of refund capture later void etc
