    Hello peteratomic.

As this is related to the Rich Guy I would prefer that you use the contact form on https://www.takebarcelona.com/contact

I tested with Chrome on a Mac and I cannot confirm this. Could you please report if you see some javascript errors inside the error console of your browser? If not you should try to deactivate all WooCommerce related plugins and enable afterwards only the Swiss Knifes.

If the problem persists please contact using the contact form.

    Regards.

Sorry for posting here. It wasn’t clear where we were supposed to seek support for the rich guy version.

You have seen my other issue… the big problem here is that all the other plugins are essential, while there are several ones that do what yours does. Unfortunately there are too many plugin conflicts with yours, so we’ll try using something else as we have to launch immediately.

No problem. You can receive support here. But I believe that WordPress does not like this…

I’m working a lot on the two guys… a major update is on its way.

    Regards.

On essential plugins: It’s not about deactivating other plugins forever, it’s about identifying the problem. If it works disabling other plugins we can try to identify the conflicting plugin and I can try to find a solution. If it works disabling other plugins you have to activate other WooCommerce related plugins one by one testing after each activation. Once we have the plugin identified, I can try to see what happens and provide a solution.

    Regards.

Please understand also, if you use several plugins that do what my plugin does, it’s likely that there will be conflicts. I could put it the other way around, you could easily contact the authors of the other plugins stating the same: your plugin conflicts with the Swiss Guys and for this reason I cannot use your plugin anymore. At least you have to identify the other plugins, otherwise it’s impossible for me to help you.

Thanks Ulihake. From your point of view, it totally makes sense. But given the fact that I’m on a fixed clock on a project that’s already gone way over budget, it’s hard to justify with a client why we have to spend so much time debugging plugins.

Honestly, I think it’s a problem with the woocommerce methodology itself… provides far too many options for things like this to happen. Bad business model IMHO.

    Hello peteratomic.

Without knowing which plugin causes the incompatibility I’m not able to help you. It’s all about identifying the plugin that’s causing the problem in conjunction with the Swiss Knife. Did you do the tests? Do you know which plugin produces the incompatibility?

    Regards.
